The participation in Tyumen oil and gas forum 2021

About annual forum

XII Tyumen oil and gas forum took place on the territory of the Tyumen technological cluster from 14 to 16 of September 2021.

Every year this event unites leading specialists, experts, and different level managers of the oil and gas industry to modernize and improve the fuel and energy complex in Russia and in the world.

The following issues were raised during the forum:

• key topics and direction of the fuel and energy complex were discussed;
• technological challenges and oil and gas companies achievements were highlighted;
• infrastructure, technology, management barriers in the fuel and energy complex and ways to improve the situation were discussed.

The forum programme covered different business event formats: panel discussions, exhibitions, online-platforms.

Narrowly focused technology days were organized. Oil services companies demonstrated and promoted their new approaches and services.

The content of our report

The SIAM delegation:

• Dubov A.A.- the managing director of BU SIAM;
• Kuzevanov S.V. - the chief commercial officer;
• Pirogov D.V. - the director of the gas projects department;
• Krasilnikov A.A.- the chief technologist of gas projects department;

At the technology session on block-modular strategy of greenfield development implemented by PJSC Gazprom Neft, our representatives presented a cooperative report on «Mobile plant of gas treatment and gas condensate processing». The report was presented by Krasilnikov A.A.

SIAM has been the partner of Gazprom neft company in «Early oil» project execution for many years.

In 2021 our employees became the participants of an extended interdisciplinary working party within the framework of Early gas project planning. Specialists of SIAM, drawing on their 30-year experience, develop new industry standards and technological solutions.

The report is an encouraging result of working on more than 20 Gazprom neft cases of «Mobile plant of gas treatment and gas condensate processing» projects. A large group of SIAM gas projects department experts took part in this work.

The results of the forum

The report of our colleagues from Gazprom neft was excellent. The leading expert of the scientific engineering department Andrey Ivanovich Ipatov presented a plenary report on «What do oil companies expect from intelligent well completion» during the technological session «Innovative technologies of intelligent well completion».

The following issues were discussed:

• problems and their solutions in horizontal wells operations;
• approaches to creation of diagnostic stationary distributed monitoring systems and problems of their application;
• the nearest stages of their development - trends and risks.

Siam, as a company aiming for technological leadership in the industry, thinks the direction of monitoring and advanced data analytics to be one of the breakthrough directions of its development.

As noted by the Press Service, it was the second time for 12 years when the Tyumen oil and gas forum was organized amid the pandemic and lockdown measures. Nevertheless, organizers, partners and participants did their best to save the status of this event.

According to organizers, the forum was attended by more than 300 delegations of different companies, more than 6700 people. Such number was recorded for the first time in the history of Tyumen oil and gas forum.
