NIS is a company located in Novi Sad, Serbia. Its activities are aimed to evolve the energy system of its region and to build a dynamicaly developing company. In order to achieve these goals, it is important to create a network of reliable partners. That is why NIS chose SIAM MASTER Ltd. to work on its new mineral assets.
This is not the first collaboration of two companies. In 2016, specialists of SIAM MASTER Ltd. audited the existing research system of NIS.

According to Alexey Krivoguz, Director of Scientific and Technical Development and Head of the tracer research group, the strategic goal of this type of work is to increase oil production of the field. This task is cruical for any company working in that line of business.
SIAM MASTER Ltd. has an tremendous experience in conducting research to determine residual oil saturation: in recent years, we have been actively providing this service to our customers. Our specialists use the Single-Well Chemical Tracer Test (SWCTT) technology for assessing the residual oil saturation, which is based on the initiation of chemical reactions in the bottom hole zone of the well which is being studied. It is worth mentioning that our company is the only owner of this technology in Russia with real practical experience.
One of the first examples of successful use of this method is our work at the Kharyaginskoye field (Nenets Autonomous Region). Based on the results of the study, our specialists, together with their colleagues from Zarubezhneft, published an article in the scientific journal «Oil Economy». Alexey N. Krivoguz participated in this project as the head manager, Alexander A. Uskov was the chief engineer of the project, Natalia O. Kukhlenkova was the head of chemical analytics laboratory, and Yuri A. Keller was the chief specialist.
In addition, we have implemented SWCTT projects at the pilot site of the Yaraktinskoye oil and gas field, Zapadno-Khosedayusky, Kholmogorsky and other fields.

As part of the new project, SIAM MASTER Ltd. will conduct SWCTT research for NIS. Now our specialists are preparing for a future business trip. According to Alexey Krivoguz, the purpose of the work is to evaluate the effectiveness of surfactant polymer compositions at several wells, for the subsequent large scale implementation of their injection throughout the field. For this purpose, two SWCTT tests are performed at each well under study — before and after injection of surfactant-polymer compositions. A large team of NIS specialists, the unit for the implementation of HMN of GPN — Technological Partnerships LLC and many others takes part in the preparation and implementation of the work.
