TSIIC SIAM participated in TNF2024

In October 2024, SIAM employees took part in TNF2024, one of the main events in the oil and gas industry here in Russia. The traditional participants of the forum are representatives of industry and government, developers and experts in the field.

This year, TNF2024 brought together more than 12 000 people from more than 60 regions. And among these people there were representatives of the SIAM company, for example Evgeny Fesenko, director of the Western Siberian branch, who presented company’s solution the field of well workover.

SIAM’s solution

There are various solutions for operational measurement of the static level, but they either have low reliability or require constant involvement of the worker. Unfortunately, this approach can lead to unavoidable mistakes related to the human factor. To solve this problem, SIAM has developed a hardware and software system that allows automating the existing technological process and eliminating the participation of a well workover specialist.

The complex includes a wireless automatic echometering sensor DUA-1 with an automatic magnetic valve, which acts as an echo sounder. The contactless switching and control system makes the sensor autonomous and does not require operator participation, and the robust design makes it resistant to external influences.

The solution offered by the company significantly reduces the installation time of the device. Additional advantages of the system are the ability to remotely monitor the static level and control operating modes of the sensor from any measurement complexes and on any units.

As of now, SIAM has conducted successful field tests in the divisions of Gazpromneft and Rosneft. As a result, it has been shown that the DUA-1 sensor performs measurements with high accuracy when the maximum error does not exceed 1 meter.

The presentation caused an active discussion among the other participants of the TNF, including representatives of customers. The moment of implementation of such systems by the customer has become even closer!
