Sports have always been an important part of a healthy and vibrant life. It is necessary to start such habits in childhood, and SIAM Company is glad to participate in this: in 2023 our Company became a partner of the column of the famous Tomsk journalist and sports columnist Andrey Usov «Children's sports in Tomsk», because we believe that sport is an integral part of character development. According to Alexander Anikanov, Director of the Well Research Department, «as a company that’s supports healthy lifestyle, we pay attention to the development of children's sports in Tomsk».
We wish that not only our employees and their children, but also, all young residents of Tomsk will have a healthy lifestyle. But often residents of our city don’t even know about the free sections, whose doors are always open to new students. To correct this, we decided to support the coverage of this topic in a series of reports. We hope that thanks to this, children can become interested and try out new sports: hockey, rowing, shooting, kettlebell lifting and tennis.
SIAM believes that our work contributes not only to the development of useful qualities in children such as a sense of responsibility, discipline and the ability to work in a team for their successful future, but also it helps them to gain self-confidence.

Winter sports have always been popular in Siberia, and Tomsk is no exception. There are many young talents in our region that in the future might become Olympic champions. And they have all the conditions for this: perseverance and will to win, dedicated coaches, support from sponsors. Pavel Bogdanov, the hockey coach № 4 of the Tomsk Youth Sports School, says that «hockey is a sport that develops a lot of positive qualities. Children from the very young age learn to cooperate. They make a lot of friends and then go through life with them».
Other champions are raised in the Youth Sports School No. 16 in the shooting section. Our city has a rich history in this sport: Tomsk snipers have repeatedly become winners of major All-Russian competitions. And now coaches from Youth Sports School № 16 are trying to continue this tradition. The school has more than 100 students: both boys and girls. Many of them are masters of sports.

Also pupils of Youth Sports School № 16 can practice rowing. Siberian winters are not an obstacle for them: in the cold weather, they master their skills on special rowing machines to show their full potential in the summer. Young residents of Tomsk also have the opportunity to try their hand at kettlebell liftingm sport. Alexandra Vishnareva, Chief Specialist of the Well Research Department, attends kettlebell training with her son. According to the coaches of this section, this sport helps to improve overall health and strengthen the body.
Our commitment to support children's sports stems from the belief that a healthy lifestyle for our children is the key to a prosperous future for Russia. We are proud to help young residents of Tomsk to discover new things.
